One versus One

One versus One recorded music création 2020 | for kids and their families

SHOW

Duration 45 min – creation for kids and families, from 6 years

They are two, side by side, barely separated, but they don’t see each other.
Space is limited. It’s like they are stuck.
Freely inspired by the characters from Orpheus and Eurydice,
Raphaëlle Boitel shakes up the myth in a surrealist way.
Through the character of Eurydice, she will question the place of women,
stereotypes and education received in a patriarchal society.
In a resolutely tragi-comic style, a way of telling childhood and youth,
the place of each, close to each other, facing each other, of evoking the quest for self,
emancipation, escape, without turning around !

Show designed for small stages and quickly set in,
One versus One is a form where we find the themes importants to Raphaëlle Boitel:
solidarity, perseverance, human relations, commitment,
moments of grace, letting go, surpassing oneself.
